Can you enjoy only this eid with poor ? if yes than step out and share your eid with them if you cant do this its mean your eid is not eid its an cultural event for you.
Eid is not just to have BBQ or enjoy outing parties even people drink during the eid, watch movies, stayed out late night, listen songs loud, watch mujras, dance naked and what not.
Few thoughts:
We are forgetting what is the real meaning of Eid-ul-Adha ?
Why we do Qurbany ?
Why we have people on roads ?
Why these youth does not have shoes to wear, warm cloths etc ?
Why people are sleeping with no food at all ?
Here are few points which I catch from the Khutba at Arafat:
- Women should not forget her duties, such as taking care of family.
- Avoid all those media channels who take us towards the wrong track.
- We all should come to common terms.
- Mohammad (PBUH) did fast (ROZA) today.
- Bloodshed by the super power is a negative act and Allah does not like it at all.
- Oh people be ready for that day when one day will be equal to fifty thousand years long.
